About Waka Flocka
Waka Flocka participated in a collaborative campaign with Rolling Stone magazine in April 2015, in which he posed as a candidate for president of the United States. Despite the fact that he was seven years too young to be considered a candidate for president, the campaign, which was directed by Sam Lipman Stern of Live from the Streets and went viral, was picked up by dozens of media outlets including CNN, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, and many more.
Malphurs was born in South Jamaica, which is located in the borough of Queens in the city of New York. In the end, his family decided to make their home in Riverdale, Georgia. His mother, Debra Antney, is the current CEO of So Icey/Mizay Entertainment and once served as the manager of the musician Gucci Mane. His cousin was the one who bestowed upon him the moniker “Waka” Gucci Mane, who he has known since he was 19 years old, was the one who first introduced him to the term “Flocka Flame”.

Waka Flocka and DJ Whoo Kid worked together to create a mixtape that was titled The Turn Up Godz Tour and was released on March 2, 2015. The mixtape featured guest appearances from artists such as Future, Howard Stern, Machine Gun Kelly, Offset, Cash Out, Bobby V, Gucci Mane, Tony Yayo, and Watch The Duck.
Salute Me Or Shoot Me 5 was a mixtape that was released on April 1, 2015 by Waka Flocka. Yo Gotti, Juvenile, and Future all made cameos on the mixtape as special guests. On November 25, 2015, Waka Flock disseminated yet another mixtape, which was given the moniker Flockaveli 1.5.
