Hall and her first husband, Tarek, were real estate agents in Orange County, California, and ran their own agency together under the name Tarek and Christina: The El Moussa Group. In the region of southern California, the husband-and-wife real estate sales combination was very successful. Their real estate firm took a hit after the stock market crashed in October of 2008, which caused a precipitous drop in the housing market.
Hall was born in the city of Anaheim in the state of California. She has a younger sister whose name is Carly and who is ten years her junior. She received her education in southern California and after graduating from San Diego State University, she entered the field of real estate and has been successful there since.
In October of 2006, she started a relationship with Tarek El Moussa, and in 2009, the two of them got married. Their daughter was born in 2010, and their boy was born in 2015. Both of their children are healthy and happy.
The El Moussas and their business partner Pete De Best made their first real estate investment purchase in 2010, when they purchased a property in Santa Ana, California for the price of $115,000 and then sold it for a profit of $34,000. The three friends carried on with their house-flipping business while simultaneously extending it into the states of Arizona and Nevada.
In the year 2011, Tarek El Moussa approached a friend in order to enlist their assistance in producing an audition tape for HGTV. She wed Anstead on December 22, 2018, at their house in Newport Beach, California, and officially changed her name to Christina Anstead after the ceremony. Prior to their marriage, she had been legally known as Christina with the surname of her first husband.
On September 18, 2020, they made public their decision to separate, and she submitted her divorce petition in November. She also dropped the surname of her second husband in favor of her maiden name, Christina Haack, and went back to using her own name only. In June of 2021, the divorce was finally formalized. Anstead submitted a petition for sole custody of Hudson on April 28, 2022, alleging Haack of utilizing their son for personal gain on various social media platforms.
At the Daytime Emmys in 2017, Hall delivered a presentation. In 2018, the El Moussa Group was put out of business. The company is currently under the ownership of Tarek & Associates, which is a solo venture run by Tarek El Moussa.
It was reported in June 2018 that Hall would be starring in her very own spin-off show called Christina on the Coast. The first episode of the first season centered on Hall repairing her new home after her divorce, while the other seven episodes focused on Hall renovating the homes of other people. Filming began in October 2018, with a spring 2019 debut. On January 2, 2020, HGTV broadcast the first episode of the show is second season.
In the year 2020, Hall made the announcement that she would collaborate with Spectra Furniture to develop a furniture collection for the company. In October of 2020, the introduction of the new line, Christina HOME, took place. People magazine made the announcement in July 2021 that Haack was in a relationship with real estate agent Joshua Hall, and the couple became engaged in September of the following year. It was stated that the couple tied the knot on April 5, 2022, and that she afterwards changed her name to Christina Hall. The pair tied the knot for the second time on September 3, 2022, in the Aloha State of Hawaii.
