About Tana Mongeau
The “storytime” videos that Mongeau has created are among her most popular videos. Mongeau announced on her Snapchat account on February 10, 2017, that she was the subject of an investigation by the FBI because someone had hacked into her email account. Tana Mongeau was born on June 24, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to parents Rick and Rebecca Mongeau. It was in this city that she spent her childhood. Tana said during her appearance on MTV’s No Filter: Tana Turns 21 that the fact that her parents lacked adequate parenting skills led to her having a difficult childhood.
On January 24, 2017, Mongeau published a video on his channel titled “The N Word” which has now been viewed more than 7 million times. She describes an incident in the video in which a person on her tour (who was later revealed to be the YouTuber iDubbbz) told her to “say nigger” This was in response to a tweet that Mongeau had sent to iDubbbz, in which she told him to kill himself for his comedic use of the word in his YouTube videos.

In it, she was called out for instances in the past and in public where she had used the word in a condescending manner. On May 26, 2018, Mongeau made the announcement that she would be conducting her own convention under the name TanaCon at the same time and in the same city as VidCon 2018, which is scheduled for June 22–23.
TanaCon was initially conceived by Mongeau as a substitute for VidCon following the failure of the organizers of VidCon 2017 to grant Mongeau the rights associated with being a “featured creator” at the convention. TanaCon was scheduled to take place on June 22, 2018, at the Anaheim Marriott Suites in Anaheim, California; however, the event was canceled the very same day.
Over eighty creators, including Bella Thorne, Shane Dawson, Casey Neistat, Miranda Sings, Ricky Dillon, Elijah Daniel, Jenn McAllister, Gabbie Hanna, Trevi Moran, Lisa Schwartz, and Jack Baran, were scheduled to hold panels during the event. In spite of Mongeau’s assertions that 20,000 individuals attempted to attend the convention, only 4,000 to 5,000 people actually showed up, and the Marriott was unable to accommodate even that number of attendees at once.

Mongeau began dating social media personality Jake Paul in April 2019. In June of 2019, the couple made the announcement that they were engaged, despite the fact that many of their supporters and observers did not believe that the engagement was genuine. Paul and Mongeau had their wedding vows exchanged in Las Vegas on July 28 of the same year. Dizzy Wine, Mongeau’s own own label of wine, was introduced into the market on January 26, 2022.
