Young Dro was born D’Juan Hart on January 15, 1979, in the Atlanta neighborhood of Bankhead, which is located on the city’s west side. The accomplishments of one of his closest friends, Chris “Daddy Mack” Smith, who is a member of the duo Kris Kross, served as motivation for him to pursue a career in rapping. On the other hand, musically speaking, Goodie Mob, who are also residents of west Atlanta, had the most influence on him.
