- Training Camp and Fighting Organization: Grant trains out of FIT Plus Martial arts in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia. He fights for the UFC. Though many fighters tend to leave their smaller gyms for bigger ones once they reach a certain point, Grant has stayed put with FIT.
“I do all my training here for the most part,” said Grant, who has called FIT Plus Martial Arts his home base since the doors opened. “The head coach and trainer is Scott MacLean; he’s the owner, and he’s one of my best friends.
We have been performing this for a while. I was the first client when he opened the gym in 2004. I kind of got off to a slow start, but I have a lot of wonderful training partners who are also close friends that push me. There are some excellent guys here.
