Ryan Seacrest is a media personality who is best known for being the host of the singing competition series American Idol. Seacrest has a weekday radio program called On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and also co-hosts a morning talk show with Kelly Ripa called Live with Kelly and Ryan. He has also produced shows like Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution, for which he won an Emmy Award, and Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Ryan John Seacrest was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 24, 1974, and had already shown interest in the entertainment and media industry as a child. According to his mother, Constance, young Ryan would always have a little microphone in his hand and do shows at home. He had won an internship at a local FM radio station when he was still in high school. He went to the University of Georgia in 1992 to study journalism, but he left it when he was 19 to pursue a broadcasting career in Hollywood.
