About Ralo
Davis had a troubled childhood marked by multiple arrests; he was sentenced to two lengthy jail terms; after his release, he tried his hand at being an electrician but ultimately decided to pursue a career in music instead in 2015. Using the stage name Ralo (or sometimes Ralo Famgoon), he recruited the Atlanta sensation Future to appear as a guest on his song “Can’t Lie,” As a result, he received rapid praise from the community as well as notice from a wider audience. Ralo focused on releasing a string of mixtapes, the most notable of which were 2015’s Famerican Gangster and Diary of the Streets, both of which went on to have follow-up releases in the years that followed.
Interscope Records and his own company, Famerica Records, as well as 1017 Records, which is owned by Gucci Mane, have both signed him.
Ralo rose to prominence after the release of his single “Can’t Lie” which included the rapping talents of Future and was made available to the public in the year 2015. On the “Every Future Song of 2015, Ranked” list that Spin magazine compiled, the song was given the position of number 65. In the year 2015, Ralo distributed the mixtapes titled Famerican Gangster as well as Diary of the Streets.
