Porter Robinson was born on July 15, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia. He got started producing from an early age with his first experimental releases as young as 12. Yet it was only with the release of his debut album Worlds in 2014 when he became a world recognized star. The Worlds album reached number 1 on the US Dance chart and placed number 18 on the Billboard 200. A year later in 2015 he was named MTVu Artist of the Year.
