About Piers Morgan
Piers Morgan is a television personality who has hosted the talk show Life Stories on ITV from 2009 until 2021 and the chat show Piers Morgan Live on CNN from 2011 until 2014. Both of these shows aired between 2011 and 2014. Between the years of 2015 and 2021, he was a co-host of the ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain alongside Susanna Reid. Prior to that, he served as a judge on both America’s Got Talent (from 2006 to 2011) and Britain’s Got Talent (2007–2010).
In 2008, he was crowned the winner of The Celebrity Apprentice US, on which he competed with the future President of the United States, Donald Trump. Piers Morgan Uncensored is a program that has been hosted by Morgan on TalkTV since 2022 under the title Piers Morgan Uncensored.
His family relocated to Newick in East Sussex just a few short months after the baby boy was born there. Morgan’s father passed away when he was just 11 months old; his mother later married Glynne Pughe-Morgan, a Welsh bar landlord who eventually worked in the meat distribution industry, and he took his stepfather’s surname.
Between the ages of seven and thirteen, he attended an independent preparatory school known as Cumnor House. After that, he attended Chailey School in Chailey, which is a comprehensive secondary school, and then Priory School in Lewes for sixth form. In 1991, Morgan tied the knot with Marion Shalloe, who worked as a ward sister in a hospital. After having three kids together, the couple decided to separate in 2004 and then divorce in 2008. In June of 2010, he wed journalist Celia Walden, who was the daughter of former Conservative MP George Walden. Celia Walden was his second marriage.
In May of 2005, he entered into a business transaction with Matthew Freud that resulted in the acquisition of ownership of Press Gazette, a trade journal for the media industry, as well as its “cash cow” the British Press Awards. The transaction was valued one million pounds.

Morgan revealed on the 24th of July 2021 that he had contracted COVID-19 following the championship game of Euro 2020, despite having received a complete vaccination. He went on to say that he was worn out from the high fever, intense coughing, chills, and episodes of sneezing that he had been experiencing. He was also afraid of what would happen next.
