About Loni Love
She began performing stand-up comedy in clubs after her day job as an engineer at Xerox in California, and she eventually became a regular at the Laugh Factory. After moving to California, she worked as an engineer at Xerox. During a layoff, Love decided to leave Xerox after working there for eight years in order to pursue a career in comedy and so save the job of another individual.

Her tenure lasted from July 15, 2013 until June 3, 2022. The Real was picked up for a series the year after it made its debut on Fox Television Stations on July 15, 2013, and it has been airing ever since. She has roles in two films released in 2015: the comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, co-starring Kevin James, and the action picture Bad Asses on the Bayou, co-starring Danny Trejo and Danny Glover.
