About Frank Ski
In the year 2000, Ski established the Frank Ski Kids Foundation, which is located in the Atlanta metropolitan region. Its raison d’être is to introduce young people to their potential futures via the fields of science, technology, athletics, and the arts.
Ski enjoyed a successful and lengthy career in the Baltimore radio business both as a radio personality and as a record producer. Before relocating to Atlanta in 1998, he was also one of the pioneers of club music in Baltimore, where he worked at V-103-Baltimore (1988–1996) and at WERQ Baltimore (1996–1998) before making the move.
His 1993 composition “Whores in this House” gave birth to a local genre that was later sampled by and referenced in hip-hop albums, notably “WAP” by Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion, which reached its highest point and debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

A survey conducted by Radio & TV Talk with Rodney Ho to determine whether or not V-103 should continue to employ Frank Ski (at the period that his contract was being renegotiated) yielded a vote of “No” from 59% of respondents. In recent weeks, he has been under fire for his support of Bishop Eddie Long during the sex scandal that he has been embroiled in, despite the fact that he attends another Atlanta church.
