About Trevon Diggs
Diggs saw action at safety, wide receiver, and as a return specialist during his first year at Alabama as a true freshman in 2016. At the end of the season, he finished with five tackles and one forced fumble on the defensive side of the ball, 11 receptions for 88 yards and a score on the offensive side, and 296 total return yards on the special teams side.
In the beginning, Diggs received his education at the Thomas S. Wootton High School located in Rockville, Maryland. Following the completion of his sophomore year, he made the decision to move to The Avalon School in Wheaton, Maryland, in order to continue playing football under the tutelage of Tyree Spinner. Diggs’s brothers’ names are Darez and Stefon, and they are his siblings.
While Darez Diggs attended Friendship Collegiate Academy Public Charter School in Washington, District of Columbia, his brother Stefon Diggs played football for Our Lady of Good Counsel, which is located in Olney, Maryland. While Darez was a member of the UAB Blazers and the Morgan State Bears, Stefon was a wide receiver for the Morgan State Bears and is now playing for the Buffalo Bills.
Diggs made the move to cornerback from safety as his primary position as a sophomore in 2017. Before Levi Wallace moved ahead of him on the depth chart, he was a starter for the first game of the season, which was played against Florida State.
