Treach is the older brother of Diesel, who is also a rapper and who is a member of the Rottin Razkals. The Rottin Razkals are a group that is closely linked with Naughty by Nature. Treach was Tupac Shakur‘s best friend and was extremely close to him. They worked together on the song “5 Deadly Venomz” by Tupac Shakur, and Treach participated in the music video for “Temptations.” by Tupac Shakur.
Treach collaborated with fellow Naughty by Nature members Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee during his time with the group. On occasion, he collaborated with Vin Rock to write verses for songs; but, most of the time, and particularly on the band’s earlier albums, Treach was the only performer on the song. Examples of this include some of the group’s most well-known tracks, such as “O.P.P.” and “Ghetto Bastard” which are both taken from the group’s second album, which bears their name.

In April of 2017, Treach provided a response on Instagram, claiming that all of the rumors were incorrect.
