A liberal political analyst and host of American television news programs, Rachel Anne Maddow was born on April 1, 1973. Her estimated net worth is $30 million. According to her mother, Maddow grew up in Castro Valley, California, a relatively conservative neighborhood. She was raised in a Catholic home and has Irish, Dutch, English, and Eastern European background. Her mother was a teacher, while her father was a captain in the US Air Force and a lawyer.
