About Lil Reese
Lil Reese, Tavares Taylor’s stage name, is an American rapper from Chicago, Illinois. His appearance on Chief Keef‘s song “I Don’t Like” in 2012 brought him fame. He put out a number of albums that helped him build a sizable fan base in the Chicago drill rap scene. In a video, Lil Reese can be seen arguing with a woman. He apologised subsequently.
Reese was shown in a video being beaten up by members of an opposing gang in 2019. Reese was ambushed and shot in the neck by a masked gunman in November 2019 while driving in the Chicago suburbs. The gunman then fled in a car. Reese was brought by someone to a location where his condition was stable. Reese made it through the tragedy and a month later released his song Come Outside. Reese and two other people were hurt in a shooting in downtown Chicago on May 15, 2021. He was shot in the eye, but he managed to make it to Northwestern Hospital after being taken there.
