American actress Katie Quinn Lowes plays Quinn Perkins on ABC’s Scandal. Lowes, who was up in Queens, New York, has always performed on stage and in the studio. In the fourth grade, she made her stage debut as “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz. She received an agent after being cast in the well-known play “Four Saints in Mexico” at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she also graduated. Her first break came from a little part in the TV pilot Rescue Me. Next, she starred with Marcia Gay Harden in Hate. Since then, she has rapidly gained recognition as a gifted young actor.
