Elyes Gabel was born on 8th May 1983 in Westminster, England. For some time, he lived in Canada. He studied at Strodes College, the Oldham Theatre Workshop and the Northern Kids Theatre Company. He dropped out of drama school to appear on I Love Mummy, the children’s TV show.
Elyes joined the cast of Casualty as the character Guppy Sandhu in 2004 and a year later he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2007, he leaved Casualty to find new acting challenges and concentrate on music with his band.
