Dustin Charles Lynch was born on May 14, 1985 and is an American country music singer and songwriter with an estimated net worth of $6 million. He was influenced early on by neo-traditional country singers such as Alan Jackson and Clint Black. Born in Nashville, Lynch was raised in the small town Tullahoma, 70 miles to the southeast. In 2003, he returned to the city of his birth to make it as a country singer.

In Nashville, Lynch was living in an apartment to the rear of the Bluebird Café, a songwriter hangout, and also attended David Lipscomb University, not at all far from the club. Lynch made appearances at the venue and learned the art of songwriting firsthand from some of the masters. Like the many masters before him, Lynch gave all to his task.
After performing at an open mic at the Café, the young singer landed a regular performing spot. The good response from the audience led to him receiving a call from Justin Moore’s manager, Pete Hartung, who was interested in signing the country singer. The attention couldn’t have come soon enough.
At the time, Lynch was working at a sewage treatment plant.
“It’s a job I’ll never do again and I would never wish upon anybody,” he said. “It was motivation to get my music in gear, though. It was the kick in the butt I needed. In desperation, you make things happen.”
Lynch signed a publishing deal and is said to have written over 200 tunes in the course of two years. In 2011 he signed with Broken Bow Records as a solo artist. His self-titled debut was released in 2012, with its lead-off single “Cowboys and Angels” quickly climbing up the charts.
So far in his music career, Lynch has released four albums and one EP for the label: a self-titled album in 2012, Where It’s At in 2014, Current Mood in 2017, and Ridin’ Roads in 2019. Also in 2019, a fourth album, Tullahoma, was released. Of the thirteen singles he has released, seven has hit No. 1 on Country Airplay.
