His first role came in 1997. It was an episode role on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, followed by a number of other small roles. You could see him in romantic movie A Walk to Remember. His first recurring role was as Mitchell Cafferty on TV series Jericho from 2006 to 2007. In 2010 he played the role of Kevin Wade in the TV series “24”. Between 2010 and 2011 he had the role of Ray Cargill in the series The Glades. Then in 2014 he had the role of Danny “Cheat” Chetowski in the television series Rogue.

Between 2013 and 2015 Clayne Crawford was in TV series Rectify where he played Ted Talbot Jr.; for which he won a Critics Choice TV Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series/

He also had a role as Cade in NCIS: New Orleans in 2015. His latest popular role is Martin Riggs on the Lethal Weapon which he declined several times before reading the script and taking it.
