About Christopher Martin
Following his victory in the Digicel Rising Stars competition in 2005, Martin took part in the Christmas promotion that Digicel was running that year. His first song, titled “Love Is All We Need” was included in the marketing effort for the album. Martin was the first alumnus of the Digicel Rising Stars program to release a record that was successful on the Jamaican charts. Soon after that, in 2005, he took first place in the Digicel Rising Stars competition.
Martin was brought into the world on February 14, 1987, in Back Pasture, St. Catherine, by his parents, Cleveland and Maxine Martin. Martin attended the Watermount All-Age School and then went on to graduate from the St. Jago High School. During his time in high school, he discovered a passion for both the performing arts and athletics. Martin received a number of honors and prizes before graduating in the year 2003.
Martin has been invited to perform at a number of notable events, including “One Night with Michael Bolton” and the “Air Jamaica Jazz Festival” in 2008. Martin has given a number of stage presentations all across Jamaica. Martin had a fruitful year in 2008, as evidenced by the fact that he was nominated for a number of prizes, including the Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards and the Jamaica Observer Teenage Choice Awards.
Baby G was the producer of the song “Melody to My Song” which was featured on the album Good Love Rhythm. Both “She Never Listens” and “Watch Me Lord” were produced by Star Kutt and released on the Fresh Ear label. “She Never Listens” featured Demarco and was produced by Star Kutt. “Watch Me Lord” was produced by Ariff Cooper. In addition to them, Martin was featured on the song “Vibe Is Right” which was part of the Street Bullies Medley and was produced by Tony Kelly. He was also a part of the song “Real Friends” which featured Agent Sassco (previously Assassin) and D-Major and was distributed by T.J Records.

In April of 2016, he traveled throughout Zimbabwe and gave live performances on stage alongside D’Major and a number of other Zimbabwean artists, including Winky D. This performance was a hit at the Glamis Arena in Harare, where it was held in Zimbabwe.
