About Becca Tobin
An American actress, singer, and dancer by the name of Becca Tobin. She made her debut appearance in the fourth season premiere episode of Glee, “The New Rachel” where she presently plays Kitty Wilde.
Being the younger of two girls, Becca spent her childhood in Marietta, Georgia. Becca attended Mableton, Georgia’s Pebblebrook High School. She danced after being a cheerleader in the seventh and eighth grades. Her dad is a Jew.
She changed schools in the middle of her senior year. After switching from a theater arts school to a public one, she started to experience bullying from students who labeled her a “theater freak” and a “nerd.” They predicted that she would never achieve fame or stardom, and one of the girls threatened to physically assault her. Additionally, she started to get rude text messages from her sole friend. She started skipping school functions like pep rallies due to the bullying, and she didn’t walk at her graduation. In 2004, she earned her high school diploma from Wheeler. She attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), a university for performing arts.
When she was four years old, Tobin made her stage debut as a Christmas tree in her school’s holiday pageant. When she was eighteen, she relocated to New York in order to begin working right away. She has performed in regional theater, where she was in the ensemble of West Side Story, as well as on Broadway as an understudy and replacement for the musical Rock of Ages. She went on tour with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in 2011. Her first television endeavor is Glee.
