Software developer Noah Glass was one of the important founders of Twitter. However, he left the company before it’s phenomenal financial success. Glass was allegedly ousted by other founders, Dorsey and Williams according to Business Insider. While they became super-rich, Noah didn’t make much at all. As of 2023, Glass’ estimated net worth is estimated to be only $125,000.
How Did Noah Glass Get So Rich?
When Twitter offered it’s stocks in the initial public offering, Williams and Dorsey scored big and live lavish lives in multi-million dollar mansions. The IPO was a huge success but not all who participated in the creation of Twitter were still present in the company at that time.
Noah Glass is probably the bigggest example. This programmer played a huge part in the birth of Twitter. He’s now often referred as “forgotten Twitter co-founder”. While other founders saw their net worths skyrocket to incredible heights, Glass did not profit.
On his own Twitter account @Noah, his biography states one simple message: “I started this”. Let’s hope that Noah will be fully acknowledged in the future. He definitely seems to deserve it.
