She dropped out of Ringling College of Art and Design and was apparently once for a job working at a make-up counter, but she definitely has had the last laugh. In 2005, Phan started her first blog. In 2007, she was already posting videos on her YouTube channel. The topic was clear – her biggest hobby, make-up.
