Popular electronic dance music group Krewella was formed by sisters Yasmine Yousaf and Jahan Yousaf. In the past, they had another member and producer, Kristopher Trindl. As of 2023, both Krewella members have a joint estimated net worth of amazing $25 million.
How Did Krewella Get So Rich?
The founding members of Krewella met at Glenbrook North High School and formed a trio in 2007 in Northbrook, Illinois. In June 2010, they all decided to dedicate all of their time to the music career together, quit their regular jobs, and got a tattoo 6-8-10 which represents date of this important day.
Krewela was signed by Monstercat label in 2011. They released song Killin’ It. which was largely promoted on social media campaigns. The trio released EP Play Hard in next year, which became a number one on Billboard’s Dance Radio Airplay chart. Krewela has earned their fame and net worth also thanks to their live performances on festivals. In 2013, they released debut album titled Get Wet which gained enormous success.
In 2014, Krewella has lost one member, Kristopher Trindl. He filed a five milion dollar lawsuit after that, claiming that he was unjustly kicked out. The Yousaf sisters countersued, claiming Trindl had drug and alcohol problems, “pretended to DJ” onstage, and ultimately resigned from the band. The affair was followed by a single titled Say Goodbye. In 2016, Krewella released several singles and has been enjoying their fans on live concerts.
