Jason DeFord (Jelly Roll) was born in 1986, in Nashville, Tennessee. His nickname JellRoll was given to him by his mother. Music became his therapy in the tough life situations he found himself in.
In 2010, Jelly Roll gained a wide recognition thanks to his collaboration “Pop Another Pill” with Lil Wyte which was successful on YouTube with 6.5 million views to date.
