Hank Green founded a popular YouTube channel VlogBrothers but is also involved in many other online projects. He amassed over 2.6 million subscribers since he founded the channel in 2007. How Did Hank Green Get So Rich?
Hank was born May 5, 1980 in Birmingham, Alabama but grew up in Florida. He studied biochemistry at Eckerd College for which he earned a bachelor’s degree. He also holds master’s degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana. In 2006, Green married his long-term girlfriend Katherine. They currently live in Missoula, Montana.
He founded the vlog with his brother John. Today, he’s also a co-creator on many other projects, such as The Lizzie Bennet Diaries and Sexplanations. Green is known for his liberal political views. In January 2015, he interviewed president Barack Obama and focused on issues related to Affordable Healthcare Act, drone strikes, and legalization of marijuana.
But not all of Green’s projects are existing solely in the world of internet. He also co-founded DFTBA Records together with Alan Lastufka. A record label that focuses primarily on musical content created by youtubers. However, Lastufka sold his share in this project in 2014 so he has more time and energy to focus on other endeavors.
