Gino D’Acampo was born in Torre del Greco, Italy. When he was 19 years old, Gino moved to London and worked in The Orchard Restaurant in Hampsteadand the Cambio Restaurant in Guildford. He co-owns Bontà Italia, wich is a supplier of Italian ingredients. His first TV experience was as a guest on Great Food Live on UKTV Food, which started his television career.
He has presented several cookery shows, such as Let’s Do Lunch in years 2011–2014, There’s No Taste Like Home in 2011 and Gino’s Italian Escape since 2013 to present. He appeared also in the the ninth series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!. Gino has much more sources of income. He launched a chain of restaurants named My Pasta Bar in 2013. In 2015, he toured the UK presenting a live stage show called Gino’s Italian Escape.
