How Did Chip Foose Get So Rich?
Chip was born October 13, 1963 in Santa Barbara, California. He studied at Art Center College of Design but dropped out due to financial problems. He worked 4 years for Clenet Coachworks and returned to finish his education. After graduation, he worked for several custom car shops. In 1998, when his employer went bankrupt, Chip started with his wife their own business named Foose Design.
In 2004, he became a celebrity thanks to Overhaulin’ Tv series. In 2007, he began with the production of his own car named Hemisfear. The production was limited to 50 vehicles. The first one ever built was auctioned for $340,000. It’s definitely a lovely collectible.
Foose lives with his wife Lynn in Southern California. They have two kids. In 2015, Foose’s ’65 Impala won prestigious Ridler at Autorama.
