Popular pop rock band Busted currently consists of three members, James Bourne, Matt Willis, and Charlie Simpson. They have sold more than five million albums all around the world. As of 2023, their combined net worth is approximately $12 million and their comeback will earn them even much more money!
How Did Busted Get So Rich?
Busted was formed in 2000, originally consisting of two other musicians beside long-time friends Bourne and Willis. Ki Fitzgerald and Owen Doyle left later that year. After an audition, Charlie Simpson and Tom Fletcher joined the band. Only one day later, the band’s manager dismissed Fletcher and Busted has remained as a trio since then.
Their debut album titled Busted was released in 2002 and their amazing career started also with a self-titled live tour. A year later came their second studio album, Present for Everyone, after winning the Favorite Newcomer at the National Music Awards. In January 2005, the band split after Simpson’s departure.
After some several projects and Bourne’s and Willi’s reunion, Simpson rejoined the band and Busted came back to their fans in 2015. In 2016, the band performed the live tour Busted: Pigs Can Fly and released their third studio album under the title Night Driver. The Night Driver Tour is gonna start in 2017.
