Her Story: Scenes of a Lifetime
It’s hard to imagine that it’s been 30 years since we first were introduced to Wynonna and the Judds. But here we are, 30 years later, and Wynonna has packed those 30 years of musical memories into this two disc set of her long awaited first concert CD.
The powerhouse vocalist and storyteller chronologically narrates the musical journey of her life and sings 20 years of her amazing hits. Opening the show with The Judds classic “Dream Chaser,” she orchestrates all of her fans’ favorite hits into this amazing performance. Highlights include “Love Can Build A Bridge,” “No One Else On Earth” and “Tell Me Why” and how the stories have woven into her life, a twenty year journey of 20 #1 hits and a style like no other. Also featured are classic and contemporary songs from her favorite artists that have inspired her music and her life. Other songs showcased include, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” originally done back in 1985 by Foreigner, and the Tina Turner hit, “Simply The Best.” She also rocks the house with her rendition of the Melissa Etheridge hit, “I’m The Only One.”
Recorded in the spring of 2005 at the famed Nashville institution, The Grand Ole Opry House, Wynonna authentically covered every style of music. The live CD includes a new studio track written by Wynonna with John Rich (of hot new duo, Big & Rich) entitled “Attitude,” which will be released to country radio in October. If you buy only one CD this fall, this should be the one you get.
