Orville Willis Forte IV was born on June 17, 1970 and is an American actor, comedian, screenwriter, and producer with an estimated net worth of $15 million. He is best known for his work on television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live. He is also the creator and star of the sitcom The Last Man on Earth. He received a history degree at the University of California, Los Angeles and became a financial broker. However, Forte later changed his career path to comedy and began taking classes with the improvisational comedy group the Groundlings in Los Angeles.

Before joining Saturday Night Live, Forte wrote for several TV series, including 3rd Rock from the Sun, That ’70s Show and the short-lived Fox comedy Action, starring comedian Jay Mohr. In addition to his work on SNL, Forte has provided voice work for a number of popular animated shows, including Sit Down, Shut Up!, American Dad and The Cleveland Show.
