About Travis Scott
Jacques Berman Webster, known professionally as Travis Scott was born in Houston, Texas. Between the ages of 1 and 6, Travis lived in South Park, Houston in a neighborhood that has been known for its high crime rates. He lived there with his grandmother. He later moved away to live with his parents in the city of Missouri. Both his parents worked. His father ran businesses while his mother worked for Apple. His father and grandfather were both into music, his father being a soul musician, and his grandfather a jazz composer.

Travis was hired to work as a producer for GOOD Music. His debut mixtape, Owl Pharaoh, was to be released in 2012 but was delayed due to issues of sample clearance. He began to grow a fanbase and was included in XXL Magazine‘s “Freshman Class of 2013”. Owl Pharaoh was released in 2013, May.
