Edward Thomas Hardy was born on 15 September 1977 and is an English actor, producer, and former model with an estimated net worth of $40 million. Tom Hardy studied acting at the Drama Centre London drama school and began his acting career in 1998. In what was his very first acting performance, Hardy took part in the 2001 film Black Hawk Down. He then went on to appear in many others such as Star Trek, Warrior, and The Revenant. For the latter, he received his first nomination for an Academy Award in the category “Best Supporting Actor”.
