About T.I.
T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., is mostly known for being a rapper, along with becoming a prominent television personality having starred in several reality shows, and in the 2010s, becoming somewhat of a movie star. Despite having a heavily controversial personal life, the rapper has continued to have a stable music career and become a part of the biggest movie franchise of all time. In recent years, the rapper has also become an incredible successful business man, making the right choices and investing in the right things.
T.I. has become very famous through his songs yet, as it turns out, T.I.’s most famous song isn’t his own. In 2013 he featured in one of the biggest songs of the decade, “Blurred Lines.” The rapper would continue to be in the headlines well after the non-stop radio play of the track died down, as several colleges and universities refused to play the track in student unions due to the song’s questionable lyrics. Nevertheless, “Blurred Lines” has half a billion plays on Spotify and the music video has 665 million views on YouTube.
His best selling album to date is his 2008 record Paper Trail, and though he already had two number one albums under his belt, the record was so successful in part thanks to the guest features from the likes of Kanye West, M.I.A., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Usher, and Rihanna.
