About Taylor Sheridan
In his work, he is noted for experimenting with the typical format and organization of a screenplay. After finishing Sicario, Sheridan moved on to writing Comancheria. Comancheria was the first to sell, but it remained in the development stage for quite some time until being placed on the Black List in 2012.
After that, it was given a new title, “Hell or High Water,” and movie was released in August of 2016. Jeff Bridges, Chris Pine, and Ben Foster starred in it, and it once again garnered praise from critics. Sheridan was nominated for accolades such as the BAFTA, the Golden Globe Award, and the Academy Award for the screenplay he wrote for the film.
Since 2013, Sheridan has been married to Nicole Muirbrook, who is both an actor and a model. The couple is now parents to a son. They make their home in Weatherford, Texas at the moment. After Sheridan failed to complete his studies at Texas State University, he relocated to Austin, where he found work as a landscaper and interior painter. Sheridan ran across a talent scout as he was seeking for work in a shopping center.
The scout presented him with the opportunity to move to Chicago and pursue a career in acting there. In later years, when he was working as an actor, he made his homes in New York City and Los Angeles.
It was reported on September 15, 2016, by Deadline that Sheridan had been hired by Sony Pictures and Escape Artists to script the American remake of the 2015 French film Disorder, which starred Matthias Schoenaerts and was directed by Alice Winocour. The original film was made in France. The reimagining was supposed to be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch, and Tony Shaw of Escape Artists, with David Beaubaire serving as the studio’s director of production for the project. James Mangold had planned to take the helm.
Yellowstone, a television series starring Kevin Costner and conceived by Sheridan in 2017, debuted on the Paramount Network for the first of its five seasons on June 20, 2018, after having been in production since 2017. Sheridan is responsible for writing the script for the sequel to Sicario, which was titled Sicario: Day of the Soldado and was released in 2018. Stefano Sollima was the director of the film. His overall contract with ViacomCBS was just been extended for another year.
