Sean Evans is a producer, interviewer, and YouTuber from the United States. He is the host of the Complex Media production Hot Ones, which he co-created with Chris Schonberger, the general manager of First We Feast. Evans repeats the phrase from Hot Ones, “It’s the program with hot questions, and even hotter wings,” at the beginning of each episode. Typically, new episodes are released on Thursdays at 11 a.m. E.S.T.
In a Saturday Night Live skit in 2021 where Maya Rudolph portrays Beyoncé in a parody episode of Hot Ones, Mikey Day played Evans.
A year later, in June 2022, Evans made a surprise appearance as himself in an episode of the Apple TV+ series Loot, in which the Maya Rudolph-played lead character does the Hot Ones interview and ends up breaking down because she can’t handle the heat.
