An Indian film actor, producer and television personality Salman Khan is best known for his appearance in many Hindi movies. He is also is a stage performer and an active humanitarian, with his brother they have their own charity organization named Being Human. Salman Khan was born on 27th December 1965 in Indore, India, as the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan. His stepmother, Helen, was actress and co-starred with him in a few films. His first acting experience was in a supporting role in Biwi Ho To Aisi in 1988. But his voice was dubbed in it. His first leading role was in Maine Pyar Kiya a year later.
Besides his acting career, he launched two own production companies – Salman Khan Being Human Productions, donating money to Being Human, and Salman Khan Film. He hosted popular TV show 10 Ka Dum and won the Best Anchor Award for it in years 2008 and 2009. Salman also hosted TV show Bigg Boss 4 and it’s follow ups 5-8. He has his income also from severe brand endorsements, such as Mountain Dew and Suzuki motorcycles, and recording few songs.
Salman lives in Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. He has a 150-acre real estate in Panvel with three bungalows, swimming pool and a gym. He is a keen bodybuilder. Salman had few serious relationships but has never been married. From 1999 to 2001, he dated Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai. Than he dated actress Katrina Kaifbut but they broke up in 2010. He also dated Sangeeta Bijlani and Somy Ali. Since 2011, Salman Khan has suffered from trigeminal neuralgia, a type of facial nerve disorder.
