Rachel Lynn Lindsay Abasolo is an American media personality. She is best known for her role as a contestant on the twenty-first season of ABC’s The Bachelor and as the lead of its spinoff, The Bachelorette, in its thirteenth season. She was the first African-American Bachelorette in the franchise.
Lawyer Rachel Lindsay worked as an attorney for Cooper and Scully, P.C. Prior to that, she was a legislative intern for Texas State Senator Roy West. She became famous as a contestant on a TV dating show, The Bachelor in 2017 and in the spin-off The Bachelorette.
Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Sport Management at The University of Texas at Austin. In 2011, she graduated from Marquette University Law School with a J.D. degree. While still studying, Rachel Lindsay did a judicial internship and also worked as a summer law clerk. In 2010, she worked as a legislative intern for Texas state senator.
