Who Is Prince Harry

The little prince that was born to an iconic beauty and philanthropist and the incumbent King of England (not too shabby) is a multi-faceted prince—a wild child tabloid regular, a dedicated military man and a supportive brother. He’s matured since the days he was causing scandals with his partying and poor choice of Halloween costume, but he’s still the mischievous rascal to his clean-cut gentleman older brother.

Prince Harry Duke of Sussex has a net worth of $25 million dollars, as of 2020.

Early Loss

Born His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, Harry had a diversely educational upbringing thanks to his mother, Princess Diana. But her untouched morality and kind spirit could only provide an influence on her two young boys, Harry and his brother Prince William, for so long. In 1997, the “people’s princess” was involved in a fatal car crash that killed both Diana and her boyfriend, Dodi Al-Fayed. A note from Harry addressed simply to “Mummy” was affixed to Diana’s coffin.

The standstill in England lasted months as its citizens mourned the loss of their great princess. But Harry had to move on. Although he was not an outstanding student, Harry did find a passion for a newfound after-school activity—polo. After graduating from high school, Harry took a year off from schooling and landed in Australia where he worked on a cattle station, then Lesotho, Africa where he worked in an orphanage.

Left Right, Left Right

In 2005, Harry enrolled at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst before joining the Household Cavalry’s regiment of the Blues and Royals, the British military. Two years later, Harry made the decision to take it to the front line with his fellow soldiers in Afghanistan. After returning home from a successful tour, Harry went on to earn his pilot wings as a trained military helicopter pilot.

Caught On Camera

Even as a dedicated philanthropist, Harry was known for being the counterpoint to his straight-edge brother. Not a direct successor to the English throne, Harry took more liberties and developed a reputation for partying, dating and getting photographed in some compromising situations, including getting to second base with his girlfriend, scuffling with a paparazzo and dressed up as a Nazi officer (complete with swastika armband) for Halloween in 2005.

Although Harry will most likely not be donning the title of King of England in his lifetime, Harry’s carefree personality and price-like qualities on and off duty make him one of the most eligible bachelors around.

Marriage to Markle

On the 19th of May 2018 in St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. The couple honeymooned in Namibia.
