Natalie Anne Coughlin Hall, an American competitive swimmer and 12-time Olympic champion, was born on August 23, 1982. Her estimated net worth is $3 million. She was the first swimmer to qualify for all 14 of the Summer Nationals when she was only 15 years old. Coughlin earned gold in the 100-meter backstroke, silver in the 4×100-meter medley relay, and bronze in the 50-meter backstroke at the 2001 World Aquatics Championships in Japan. In addition to two silver medals in the 4x100m freestyle and medley relays, she earned four gold medals in the Pan Pacific Championships in 2002 in the 100m backstroke, 100m butterfly, 100m freestyle, and 4x200m freestyle relay.

Coughlin won two gold medals in the 100-meter backstroke and the 4×200-meter freestyle relay at the 2007 World Aquatics Championships in Australia. She also won two silver medals in the 4×100- and medley relays, as well as a bronze in the 100-meter butterfly. Coughlin became the first woman to win six medals at a single Olympics at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, winning the gold in the 100-meter backstroke, two silvers in the 4×100-meter freestyle and medley relays, and three bronzes in the 100-meter freestyle, 200-meter medley, and 4×200-meter freestyle relay.
