Sleepwalk With Me, by Mike Birbiglia
At New York’s Bleeker Street Theater in 2008, Birbiglia premiered Sleepwalk With Me, his first solo performance. The program centered on Birbiglia’s start in stand-up comedy and his sleepwalking disorder, which had a terrible physical and psychological impact on him. Excellent reviews were given to it, and it was nominated for Drama Desk and Outer Critic Circle honors. It received Time Out New York’s “Show of the Year” award in 2009.
