Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. born on August 18, 1983, known as Mika (stylized as MIKA), is a Lebanese-born British singer-songwriter with an estimated net worth of $14 million. Due to war, Mika’s family had to flee Lebanon when he was a very young child. Going through a difficult time filled with confusion and change, Mika became highly introverted. At the age of nine he dropped out of school for a time, and it was then that he began to turn to music as a refuge.

Before becoming a mainstream act, one of Mika’s greatest musical accomplishments was writing and producing an Orbit Chewing Gum jingle.

Eventually, Mika became proficient enough to perform in some London-area opera houses. He also wrote and produced jingles and in-flight music for British Airways.
After being selected by British music critics as the most promising new artist for 2007, Mika’s first single “Grace Kelly” topped the UK singles chart in January. His first album Life In Cartoon Motion hit UK stores in February, and was set for a March release for the US.
In May 2019, Mika released the single “Ice Cream” and announced his fifth studio album, My Name Is Michael Holbrook. In October 2019, Mika was honored with the Music Award at the 2019 Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards.
In 2019, Mika performed on top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris as part of its 130th anniversary celebration. In summer 2020, Mika is scheduled to perform a series of festivals in France.
