Although this Armenian beauty seems to have a large and happy family, her roots aren’t quite as expansive and joyous. Her parents, Robert and Kris Kardashian, divorced when she was just 10 years old. When he represented O.J. Simpson in his historic murder trial, her father, Robert Kardashian, later made the Kardashian family name famous. In an effort to protect her children from any potential media coverage of the family, Kourtney’s mother relocated the kids to Hidden Hills, California. Infamous Heiress
Kourtney, the oldest of the Kardashian children, including Kim, Khloe, and Robert Jr., graduated from an all-girls high school before attending Southern Methodist University in Texas. She transferred to the University of Arizona after two years, where in 2002 she earned a degree in theater arts and Spanish.
A few months later, Kourtney and her mother launched Smooch, a children’s clothing store with locations in Los Angeles and New York. By that time, Kourtney’s family gained a number of new members, which lessened some of the strain of having a single parent raise the family.
