Kevin was born July 16, 1964 in Baltimore, Maryland. His ancestry is half Italian American and half African American. He became excited for bodybuilding at an early age when he saw the physique of his cousin who was frequently visiting the gym.
Levrone made it to the IFBB Hall of Fame and amassed a sizable net worth of $2 million, as of 2023.

In 1991, Levrone started his professional ICBB career. Today, at his height he weighed 240 pounds and it was all-muscle. But his road to the perfect toned body wasn’t easy. He tore his pectoral muscles in 1993 and needed reattachment surgery. Yet, he didn’t give up.
In his long career as a bodybuilder Levrone competed in 67 IFBB Professional contests. Out of which he won 23 professional shows and held the record of most wins up to the year 2004. In 1994 and 1996 he won the IFBB Arnold Classic Bodybuilding competition. While he never won and became Mr. Olympia, he was runner-up in competitions 1992, 1995, 2000 and 2002.
