Mark Justin Roiland is an American animator, director, producer, voice actor, and writer that began his career in the early years of the new millennium and gained popularity for being the co-creator of the Adult Swim series Rick and Morty, where he voices some of the titular characters. In addition to Rick and Morty, which brought him two prestigious Primetime Emmy Awards, he is the creator of other well-known series – Solar Opposites, Adventure Time, and Gravity Falls.
Justin Rowland became famous after he co-created the fan-favorite Rick and Morty. Mark was born on February 21, 1980, in Manteca, California. He spent most of his childhood in Manteca alongside his sister Amy and their parents, Mark and Rebecca. He initially attended the local Sierra High School before transferring to the Manteca High School during the second quarter of his senior year. After his graduation in 1998, he enrolled at the Modesto Junior College.
