About Josh Duhamel

In less time than it takes to say “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton,” Josh Duhamel transitioned from being a model to becoming a movie star. He started off as a jock studying biology before becoming a catwalk killer and movie star.
Model inclinations
Josh was born in Minot, North Dakota with his three younger sisters, Ashley, Cassidy, and Mckenzie, and spent his childhood surrounded by ladies (plus his father, an advertising salesman). The wish of every young girl to become a movie star, however, did not pass to their elder brother. Josh enrolled at Minot State University, where he played football and studied biology, but he was short one credit and was unable to graduate.
Before competing in and winning a modeling competition in which Ashton Kutcher was also a contestant and runner-up, Josh worked in construction for a few years.
Soon after, Josh began to receive approaches from business professionals encouraging him to pursue a career in acting. In 1999, Josh scored his first part in the daytime drama All My Children for which he eventually received an Emmy for his performance as Leo du Pres.
After a three-year stint on a soap opera, Josh landed a part in the NBC drama Las Vegas before playing the titular role in his debut feature film, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!

However, a Hollywood marriage made in heaven that surely did not remain in Vegas was sparked by a guest appearance on Las Vegas in 2004. On a single edition of the program, Fergie made an appearance along with the rest of the Black Eyed Peas band members. Josh exclaimed, “You’re hot!” Josh previously stated in an interview that he had fantasies about the singer. Fortunately, the seductive pop diva had a sense of humor about it, and the two clicked right away.
After landing a role in Turistas (2006), Josh went on to star in the action blockbusters Transformers (2007) and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). However, Josh underwent his biggest metamorphosis to date in 2009 when he became legally married to Fergie. Forget about futuristic vehicles and robots. In Malibu, the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony.
Unfortunately, the pair separated in 2019. The good news is that Josh Duhamel recently announced his engagement to Audra Mari.
Life As He Knows It
The newlywed went on to land roles in Life As We Know It, where he shares diaper duty with Katherine Heigl, and The Romantics (2010), which starred Katie Holmes and Anna Paquin.
Josh isn’t immune to scandal, but he has the charming grin, blazing job, and steamy marriage—complete with sensual dances from his wife—to silence the doubters. Josh was accused of cheating on Fergie with a stripper in Atlanta, an accusation he firmly rejects. Up to their separation in 2017, the couple had been together. Axl Jack Duhamel is the only kid they have together.
