José José is the stage name of Jose Romulo Sosa Ortiz – a Mexican actor, singer, and songwriter that was born into a family of musicians. His musical career began during his early teenage years. In the 1970s, Jose found success as a solo artist who gained popularity with his tenor vocal ability and stunning performance of the song “El Triste” during a Latin music festival.
