Jordin Brianna Sparks was born on December 22, 1989 and is an American singer-songwriter and actress with an estimated net worth of $10 million. Jordin Sparks grew up in New York City and her father Phillipi Sparks, was an NFL football player for the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys. Her mother, Jodi Wiedmann Sparks, has provided strong encouragement for her musical accomplishments. Jordin Sparks’ family moved to Glendale, Arizona after her father announced his retirement from football in 2000.
In 2003, at the age of 13, Jordin Sparks recorded a 5-song, independently released CD titled For Now. The EP was put together with assistance from contemporary Christian music pioneer Matthew Ward. In 2004 Jordin Sparks appeared in the reality TV competition America’s Most Talented Kids advancing to a championship edition of the show.
