He’s best known for his nickname “Mattress Mack” and began his business career in the 1970s. He gained national popularity the following decade after he became the co-owner and founder of Gallery Model Homes Inc, the largest independent furniture retailer in the Texas area.
He was born on February 11, 1951, in Starkville, Mississippi. He’s the son of George and Angela McIngvale.
