Herman Cain was an American activist, author, businessman, and former radio personality that was part of the Tea Party movement. His career began in the late 1970s just after he earned a master’s degree at the Purdue University. Over the course of his career, he was a chairman of the “Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Omaha”, and the “National Restaurant Association” among others.

His father also worked as the chauffeur for the president fo The Coca Cola Company, Robert W. Woodruff. Herman’s family moved to Atlanta when he was young. He grew up in the west side of the city and attended the S.H. Archer High School.
During his teenage years, he was an attendee of Reverent Cameron Alexander’s Antioch Baptist Church, which is known as The Bluff. His family later moved to another house based in the Collier Heights neighbourhood. After his graduation from high school in 1963, he enrolled at the Morehouse College from which he received a bachelor of science in mathematics in 1967. Four years later, he received his master of science in computer science from the Purdue University. At the time, he was working full-time as a ballistics analyst for the United States Department of the Navy.

Apart from the radio, Herman has made multiple appearances on Fox News. From March 2019 until his passing, he worked as the panelist for various television shows.
